As some , or most, of you know, I tend to get obsessed with things for periods of time..
This week's flavour is ADAM LAMBERT.
Now, yes, I am Canadian, but our idol sucks. I see the winner of Canadian Idol everyday, he walks into my work all the time, it's a slight bit anticlimactic. SO. I decided to watch American Idol, I usually just watch the auditions for the crazies (as most do).
Well, this absolutely ADORABLE man walks in, and i go, oh my god, he has to win. Then he starts singing..
WELL. The heavnes opened up when he began to sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Not only is it QUEEN, it was done beautifully by him.
So then I freak out and tell my parents that this guy MUST WIN.
I stopped watching for a while until one day I tunr it on, and there he is again, THIS TIME WITH EYELINER.
And now. Im hooked.
However. One slight problem, you crazy americans.
You seem to have the talent for VOTING FOR THE PERSON WITH LESS TALENT.
I mean, Kris Allen is .. alright? But come on now, Adam was on broadway! He can sing like nothing I've ever heard, he's being compared to Elvis! And yet, on the finale, I heard Ryan say Kris' name.
Now, I was very upset, but I guess I'm okay with it now because now Adam isn't as tied to the AI franchise as Kris and I know he's gonna do better anyways, cuase I'll probably buy most of his albums. XD
BACK TO MY OBSESSION -
My AI concert is on August 14th here in my city. I have .. 9 posters of adam, a hat, sunglasses, PANTS, shoes, socks and tatoos.
I think I *may* scare him, but that's alright because I'm very noticeable and he should be drawn towards me.
I've already made 3 of my friends obsessed with Adam, so if you're a girl and you haven't heard of him, and you now are going to youtube to do so, be careful, he's addicting.
And before anyone says anything - I don't care about my slim chances with him. LMAO. I've always wanted a gay friend anyways. So there. xD
