American Idol fans: Whos going to be in the Bottom 3?

Kim C. sure got a rude awakening. I'm soooo sick of her sticking her face in every camera. Every single time that the camera is on one of the guys, sure enough she's over there to hug them or put her head on their shoulder. Who is she kidding? I don't think that she has the range or versatility of most of the others.

I was surprised that Carmen and Corey weren't in the bottom.

I loved hearing Proud to Be An American, and I liked that they had Josh lead the group in singing it.

Going against popular opinion here but I don't think Carman is that bad, she is young and her last performance was better than her others. I particularly felt bad several weeks ago when Paula (she gives me a pain sometimes) ragged on about her makeup, and Carman came back and said, "it was the makeup artists" for the show who did it...good for her.

Julia needed to go a long time ago, and Corey should get the boot too, he just thinks he is all that and a bag of chips.

I do agree with Simon most of the time, Clay's song this week did sound like another rendition from his song last week. I'm not as enamored of him as some of you. He is starting to get a little big headed too I think with all the comments from the judges. Of course, this is all JMHO!

Simon takes a lot of guff too, and let's face it, what would the show be without the "bad" guy on the panel? What fun would it be to hear Paula all the time gushing and the guest judge never says a bad thing about anyone. Simon is a "needed" element .

I couldn't agree more, Regina! I always noticed that! She is a big camera hog, and her "concern" and "support" seems so insincere. Humility is an attractive trait, and I'm sorry, her lack of it turns me off.

I also agree that Simon is the NEEDED voice on that panel. Randy and Paula offer support totally unlike what goes on in real life. These young people chose a business that is very tough, and you have to deal with some amazing criticism at the beginning and all the way through. Simon is the one that keeps them trying harder.

I've never thought about Paula Abdul much, one way or the other, after her minutes of fame were over years ago, but one thing I've thought while watching her on this show and the little gig that she does on Entertainment Tonight...she strikes me as not being the sharpest blade in the knife drawer.

She seems like a very nice person, but just a little dense at times. It might just be my slant on her, others may disagree.

And I do say that Kimberly C. has stage presence and can sing, but she is definitly a camera hound and thrives on the drama of the moment. I bet she about croaked when she heard that she was in the lower 3 last night. Humility and realizing that she isn't as great as she thinks she is might have kicked in after last. Heck, she was shocked beyond belief when Julia made it over her in the first round, before she went to the wild card round. Obviously the public that votes is seeing something in her that rubs them wrong...oh, guess that might be that over inflated ego she carries around.

I think Kim C being in the bottom 3 has more to do with her attitude than performance. She definitely seems (seemed) cocky.

Couldn't agree more - I did think she did a better job this week, and was surprised to see her in the bottom three. I think her attitude is the thing that put her there, and not her singing. JMHO, but I think people are sick of her leaping into every possible camera shot, as someone else mentioned. Maybe a little dose of humility will do wonders for her. Do we really need another blonde pop diva?

Well, now that Julia's gone (yay!) the next couple I would like gone are Corey and Kim Locke. She is very annoying too. I don't like how people think they can argue with the judges all the time. Also...does anyone else agree with Simon all the time? I know people make fun of him, but he's honest, and usually right! Paula and Randy are getting too fake.

I was shocked to see Kimberly C. in the bottom 3. She is not one of my favorites but I like her well enough to want her to stick around a little longer. Her fake attitude is annoying and that might be costing her lots of votes.

I think Rickey was done in by his choice of song. Maybe I am the only one but I did not recognize it at all and for some people I think that can make a difference into which performances stand our in their minds and which ones they choose to vote for.

I am glad that Julia is gone and from her reactions I think she might be glad she is gone as well. Her performance last night after she was voted out was her best to date IMHO. She finally looked like she was not scared.

Someone asked if anyone else agrees with Simon. I agree with him probably 85-90% of the time. He is usually dead on with his comments but every now and then he comes out of left field with a comment or two. My biggest issue with him right now is his comments to Carmen. I think he is afraid to criticize her because she was his pick and I don't think that is right.

Paula and Randy are getting very annoying. I think they have both gotten swollen egos from this thing. I was hoping they would have new judges for AI2 (except keep Simon) but I am really, really, really hoping they replace them for AI3.

Does anyone else wonder what the show would be like if instead of voting for your favorite you voted for the people you wanted to go?

As soon as they mentioned Rickey being in the bottom 3, I was afraid the same thing would happen as the past 2 weeks, that someone who didn't deserve to be going home would be leaving. I was happy when they said he was safe, because between Kim C and Julia, I didn't care which went home since I don't like either of them.

I hope Kim got a reality check and realized that she's not all that. I hated when she was crying at the end because it was so fake. And I had to laugh when she tried to get in Julia's shot and Julia accidentally hit her in the head.

I noticed that there's 5 people who have never been in the bottom 3--Clay, Ruben, Trenyce, Josh, and Carmen. There is definitely something wrong with that, I don't know how Carmen avoids being in the bottom 3. I am hoping that the next 3 to go are Corey, Kim C, and Carmen.

I just don't get why Corey never ends up in the bottom 3? I find his voice and style like chalk going across a chalkboard and he is SO full of himself!! Paula bats her eyes at him each week like he was something special. Ick !! I hope Simon let's him have it one of these weeks.

Kim is one of those singers who has a range of about 6 notes. Did you notice that she had to sing a Travis Tritt song in order to find something that she could sing in a low range? Granted, she looked like a hot little cowgirl, but not an Idol-in-waiting.

I too agree that Randy and Paula are a waste this year. Randy seems to love everyone, dog, and Paula just takes up space. Her cowgirl get-up last night looked like something from the Grand old opry circa 1950. Olivia Newton John was such a class act sitting next to her--you can really tell who the A star is and who the C star is. No matter what you say, Simon remains the only judge with real feedback each week. And I too agree with him 95% of the time. He does know his business. Not some "pat" quip like "you really owned that song and made it yours....."

I also think Julia gave the performance of her life after she got booted off. She has been terrified ever since they got the huge stage with the live audience. Although I thought it was time for her to go I was also sad because she does have some vocal talent - which is more than I can say for Corey - who's still there.

I agree that Kimberley C. is a stagehog. She has tons of confidence due to her performing background - years of experience will do that to you. I do think she was sad to see Julia go - I think they all were because they have become friends -but agree some of her tears were probably relief and fear for herself. I would have been doing the same thing so I can't comdemn her for it!

Its funny how the ones that get voted off, sing thier last song really WELL! Now, if they could have sung like that through-out the rest of the competition, they wouldn't be there. Yes, I agree, it seems Randy (Dog) and Paula LOVE everyone, Simon is the ONLY one that tells the truth!

I was glad to see Julia finally go. It was definitely her time.

I missed Kim C. performance but do not like her over all. And I thought Rickey was not that great.

What is up with Clay and his eye twitching thing?! It's like he closes his eyes and rolls them while they are closed. It makes his eyelids twitch! He needs to get some new expressions! Has anyone else noticed that ot is it just me? I do like his voice though.

I'm not getting the same vibe as most about Kimberly C. She loves being on camera, but that's what this contest is all about. I think she has way more talent than everyone except Rueben, Clay and Trenyce.

If Corey isn't out next week, I'll go nuts! The sad thing is I think Im actually going to kind of miss Julia- who will we make fun of now?

I too was surprised (shocked, actually) to see Ricky and Kim C in the bottom three. They are certainly not TOP 3, but bottom? I don't think so. Thought it would be Corey, Carmen and Julia.
I was not surprised to see Julia go, although I actually thought she was fairly good this week, definitely not the worst. I wish it had been Corey, I think he is horrible! I have said from the beginning, how could he even make it to the top 12? I just don't get it.
As far as Carmen goes, I thought there were 1 or 2 times when she was very good, but other times she was nothing special. I can't say I ever thought she was horrible, though. I think she is still in because Country music is very popular right now, and she and Josh are really the only country style singers in the competition, so I bet all the country music fans are voting for them.

I really think Kim C has so much star quality,confidence, and beauty. I think she has what it takes to be a star! You can not be meek to make it! You need to stand out and be noticed and she makes sure she is noticed!

My issues with Kim C. are her arrogance and ego - she jumps in every camera shot she can, but she turned me off from the beginning with how she treated Julia before the final 32 were picked. There was a group of 3 or 4 of them and Kim C and the other girls blew her off and then were ticked because Julia did the same to them the next morning. I think her true colors came out then.

I also don't think she should even be considered for this show because not only has she been on Star Search, she performed PROFESSIONALLY in Branson, MO. Of course this might be why Simon said he could see her performance in any theme park in America.

I don't think she is a terrible singer, I just don't like her!

I'm ready to see Corey, Kim C and Carmen go.
