American Idol: Clay and Carmen sitting in a tree.........

k-i-s-s-i-n-g !! Is it just me or is anyone else seeing signs that Clay and Carmen are a little 'sweet' on each other? Seems like they are finding every little chance to be next to each other, lots of gazing into each other eyes, etc. (Or maybe I just am looking too hard )

My DH said the same thing last night, but I think Clay is just a touchy, people person. Did you see him holding hands with Ricky when they were announcing who was going to be in the bottom 3. Then when it was Rickey's turn he was holding hands with Carmen, and Clay put his hands on both of their hands.
But then on the other hand you never know

I've been to a LOT of Barry Manilow concerts in my time (and LOVE Barry Manilow as a performer) and always found it ironic how many women screamed and threw themselves at him too. Clay reminds me of Barry Manilow.

We've been discussing the "Clarmen" action in an AI forum, and a lot of people think it's probably scripted that way. I think the producers REALLY have something up with Carmen- first she's in the bottom 2 and gets to stick around, then they do that phone commercial with her sending the kiss to Clay, then the whole thing last night, plus putting her in the commercial with Ruben. Its like "Look! Clay loves Carmen, and Ruben dreams about her! Dont you love her too?"

Goat girl needs to go home. Her new nickname is "Carmen Ras-mutton"

Or maybe I'm just getting too "Conspiracy Theory" here

I'm another one who thought Clay was gay...no flames please! Clay is my favorite of the bunch. My girls imitate Carmen's singing and they so exaggerate it...it just cracks me up. I have no idea why she isn't gone, she is not one of the better singers on there. Simon made a comment on one of the shows that she was the most "marketable"
