Anyone have any clues about how to get clothes at a decent price? Those little outfits are expensive!!

I bought Marie Grace for my grand-niece last year and managed to get a Holiday Outfit over the summer on sale. I also bought 2 little shirts and skirts (also on sale) and a dress on Ebay. I am now trying to knit a sweater. I haven't knitted in years and I am so happy it's little!!!

I know different manufacturers make clothes. Are there any that are particularly well made?

Target and Walmart have knock off doll clothes that fit. They run about 10-15 an outfit. Last year i got several dresses on Etsy that ranged from 8-15. If you buy several from the same seller you can get cheaper shipping.

I used to buy knock-offs at Michael's and use a 40% off coupon. I'm not sure whether or not they still sell them, as that was a few years ago. They also had shoes, socks, tights, coats, etc.

I also bought some patterns with the intention of making clothes, but after one outfit I quit! It was more fun to knit them sweaters and hats. I also knitted a hooded cape for Elizabeth that was a hit.

That is a great idea to buy the knock off outfits at Michael's with the 40% coupon!! Hoping they still sell the outfits.

My MIL got 3. 2 for each of my DDs and 1 for my DN. Neither kid wants MC so I called my local AG store and they said they can bring them in and trade for a doll they want as long as its not Saige.

go to Kohl's website then girls and select Dollie and me. sort by price. I just looked. there were more yesterday. now there are 2 outfits for under $10.

Thank you! They had bigger sizes! (up to size 10!). Just got 2 pair of pjs and matching outfits for my DDs for Christmas!

I'm wondering if you (or anyone else!) have gone in and tried this yet? If so did they give you $50 credit towards a different doll or did they let you just trade one doll for another?
