Has anyone been to the American girl store in Orlando? I'm thinking of taking DD there on one of our non park days. How far would it be with an uber and is it worth it? Thanks!

The store is in the Florida Mall which is off 528 near MCO.

You can check on the uber pricing using the app.

Do not know the Uber cost.

The worth depends if your daughter likes American Girl as the products are very expensive if she is indifferent.

My girls loved the store but were overwhelmed by the choices - a normal reaction I was told.
It is a wonderful experience, I just wish we had planned to eat there as I am sure my children would have loved it. We spent two hours choosing two dolls and extra outfits. If, like us, it is your first purchase of an American Girl doll please check the prices before you go. It is less embarrassing collapsing on the floor at home rather than, like my husband, in the store!
I hope you have a wonderful time

I haven't been to the Orlando location but plan to go this summer.

I assume that you haven't been to an American Girl store before? I would definitely plan to eat there if you can! It was a lovely experience for us at the DC area location -- lots of attention to little details and good food, too. Kind of Disney-esque in that way! Your daughter can bring her own doll (AG or not) or they will give her a loaner :)

Yes, expensive. Thankfully, my daughter was not looking to get another doll, just accessories. And they really are better quality than any of the others. Have fun!

We took our girls. It was a couple years ago as we were on the "Lea" hunt. I will say of all the AG stores we have visited this was our least favorite. I actually emailed the company when we returned home as the sales associate was so rude. She actually left us know she didn't want to be there. On a side note the guard at the door was super sweet.
