That's just not true. The same link was used from 8am (or even earlier) on to buy the dolls. The link did in fact take you to the AG website from the start.

You are right. People started ordering them...massive amounts of people around 8 AM EST. And they had the till at least 10:15 EST. But after it aired on the Today show the site slowed way down. A LOT of these dolls were sold yesterday, more than I thought would be in stock even.

I made 2 separate orders yesterday. My first one was listed as shipped by early afternoon. I have also gotten the email that it shipped

My order was probably one of the last orders to go through. It was close to 10:30am.

I did get confirmation that my order went through just fine, so I do know I got the deal, but haven't received shipping confirmation yet.

One thing American Girl does amazingly well is ship fast, if the item is in stock.

I received an email this morning that my order was backordered. I ordered right at 9:00 a.m. yesterday. It does say it should ship 12/11. I sure hope so!

I haven't gotten a shipment confirmation email either, but when I check the status on the AG website, it shows it shipped yesterday at 5:50 pm! It is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. That seems wild to me - I guess I will just see if it shows up!

Just got the shipment confirmation and tracking # for my order...the doll and bed. Should be here by friday 12/7. I'm so happy for my dd8 she is going to be thrilled on Christmas morning!!

I ordered Marie-Grace first and that order still says "In Progress". I decided to go back a short time later and order Cecile and that order has tracking information, but I didn't receive a "shipped" email. Just glad I got the deal. I'm putting them away for another occasion/holiday anyway : )

I received a shipping notice too!! They use that awful "smartpost" service though (fedex delivers to the local post office, then they deliver to you), so just be aware that the dates could be off (they always are for me with Smartpost shipments).

I know! I ordered something from Crocs on Cyber Monday and the tracker said I would get them yesterday, but they came today.

As a side note, if you are mailing stuff USPS or excepting stuff from USPS, they are running really slow. I have multiple things that were mailed to me priority a week ago, and nothing yet! Priority normally takes 3 days max for me!

I know! I ordered something from Crocs on Cyber Monday and the tracker said I would get them yesterday, but they came today.

As a side note, if you are mailing stuff USPS or excepting stuff from USPS, they are running really slow. I have multiple things that were mailed to me priority a week ago, and nothing yet! Priority normally takes 3 days max for me!

I was just thinking out fast UPS is coming for me. LOL Probably depends on where you live. Something shipped yesterday and arrived today

Ok, I ordered and received a confirmation email that my order was placed.

I have gone to the website and logged in and it says "no recent orders have been placed."

What has gone wrong?????

I would think if you have the confirmation email with an order number you should be ok....I would call though just to be sure
