American Girl clothes for Disney Girl doll?

I'm wondering if the American Girl doll clothes will fit the Disney Girl doll. Does anyone know for sure? My DD (6) is starting to ask for an American Girl doll Anyhow, our next trip is a few weeks after her birthday, and I was planning on taking her to the My Disney Princess Tea Party as her birthday present. I thought maybe I could give her an American Girl outfit on her birthday to tell her that there's a surprise waiting for her in WDW, and about the tea party and doll somehow. First, I'd just need to make sure the American Girl clothes would fit.

My daughter says they do. She has both dolls and has put the AGD clothes on the Disney doll.

Yes, they do fit the american girl doll. Last year we went to the world and they had a promotion, if you but one Disney Doll oufit you get the other half off, well we took advantage and bought all the Princess outfits great deal considering how much the American Girl doll oufits cost. The only problem are the shoes..also the American Girl Doll still looks new(she plays with it often) the Disney Doll looks pretty awful and she does not play w/it as much..You definetly get your money worth..
