I was reading about their new travel features for owners of this credit card (which I already have). I was wondering if anyone has used it. Trying to get our fall trip planned out and I'm wondering how it works exactly. Do I have to charge the plane tickets on the card? Or is it just connected to my AAdvantage number?

It would be SO nice not to get hit with the baggage fees. American is the only airline here.

Any other perks that come with that card that I don't know about? In terms of actually traveling anyway? I saw they have pre-boarding too. Eeep! Its almost enough to make flying fun again. Remember that?

IM SO EXCITED! The last 3 trips we drove. We're flying this time!!! Wahoo!!!:banana::banana:

I added this card a couple of months ago before booking a trip to San Juan. You do have to book the ticket/s with your credit card and your AA advantage number. Up to 4 other people's bags on the same reservation go free too! I also got a promotion that you get 30K miles free. I haven't gotten my voucher for that yet. Worth it for us!

I have the Delta card and they only require your frequent flyer # on the reservation, you can use any credit card to purchase. I get the benefits even when I use my corporate credit card to pay for the airfare.
