We are going to the World in July. The boys want to go to the fork & dine AMC in Disney Springs. I read somewhere you can bring in food you get somewhere else if you don't want their food. For example I could get a sandwich from the Earl of Sandwich or a pizza from Wolfgang's and bring it into the theatre. The post said Disney allows this. Any one do this? How do I check it out? T hanks

No you can't. Just like any other theater, it's against the theater rules to bring in outside food and drinks. In the lobby area you might be ok eating outside food before the show but not in the theater, and the lights on the tables make it easy for the servers to see if you've brought something in. They have the authority to remove you if you have outside food, and with the higher prices I wouldn't chance it.

Bringing food in would defeat the purpose/niche of a Dine in theater. If your boys want to experience it, then eat there and have the experience, otherwise, it's just a movie theater- something you didn't need to travel to visit.

Also important to note is that not all the theaters there are Fork and Screen. Meaning, when we were there in April, the movie we choose to see was in a regular theater. No food service. Most disappointing.

Double check before you go to confirm which type your movie will be played in.

Disney allows you to bring in outside food to their parks..but the movie theater is completely owned by AMC Theatres..not Disney at all. Outside food is not allowed. I wouldn't risk it but I'm sure you will see people that said they brought in outside food-1) They could have hid it in a bag 2) the employees at the location didn't care/think to look. These reasons still don't make it ok to bring in outside food.

Here's a screen shot from AMC Theatres website which is meant for all their locations.

Policy is same there as every large-chain movie theater in America, no outside food. There are signs posted in the lobby. I will admit, I did "sneak" a rice krispie treat from candy cauldron around the corner in once, please don't send me to Disney jail! I made up for it by getting a pop and nachos? But yeah, walking in with a whole outside meal isn't going to work and is completely against the rules.

I have asked and been allowed to bring in my own food and drink.
I have a food allergy and they are not able to accommodate my food allergy,,too high a risk for cross contamination. I have bought their bottled water as it is sealed.
I really wish I could eat their popcorn.:sad2:

I believe there is a separate entrance for F&S.
