Amazon... will they give a credit if the price goes down?

I ordered two XBOX games for my son on the 22nd. Of course they are down now. UGH I got NHL 11 for 42.00 and NCAA Football 11 for 42 which I thought was a great deal. NOW they are both 34.95. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am going to grab Madden 11 for 34.95. They have that discounted from 42.00.

It is my understanding that they do not price adjust on items that have already been shipped/sold. However, if you preorder something and they lower the price before the item is released, then they will charge you the new, lower price.

Thanks.. I did live chat with their customer service and she said they don't do the price adjust. Oh well... I still go it cheaper than most stores at 42.00. Plus free shipping.

Not sure if Walmart still has Madden11 or if it's sold out but it was on their site for $29 with free shipping yesterday. Meanwhile if you bought additional games with the lower price and have your receipt for the original purchase, can you return the games in-store? ---Kathy

YEP I already opened that package. I thought of that after the fact. I went online to check the price of another game for Christmas and noticed these two were lower.

I almost order it from Walmart this evening for $49.96...it was sold out in the store. Then I checked Amazon and was pleasantly surprised to find it for $34.99 with free shipping and no tax....
