Amazon waitlist again

How long can i possibly be on a lightening deal waitlist? I've been on them before but I don't remember it taking this long. Anyone know how much time they give you to put the item in your cart if you make the list?

I got wait listed for Monsters University earlier today. When it was my turn I had two minutes to add to cart! Then I had 15 min to complete checkout.

Thanks. I didn't get the deal I was wait listed for but there's another one later that will probably go pretty fast too. Good info.
