I got a free month with getting my DD a fire for her b-day and she wants to download everything that says Prime free but I think I heard it is only like 1 book a month. Not sure of the movies/tv shows. She tells me one thing but I dont want ot get stuck with a HUGE bill till I can figure it out.

I know shipping is free with Prime but what about the other thigns? Can I get the easy to understand version and not the legal version? :rotfl:

HELP!

I have Amazon Prime and the movies and TV shows that it lists as being free are streaming videos. These are videos you just play through the internet and are not actually downloaded. So you can watch any of these movies for free, while you have your Prime membership! Nothing illegal there because you aren't downloading a copy of the video, just watching it.

As far as books go, I have a Kindle and I have the option to "rent" one digital book a month as a Prime member, I think that's what you are talking about. Again, perfectly fine through the Prime membership because you are just viewing the book and it's not downloaded so you don't actually "own" the book. I'm assuming you can rent books and read them on your computer if you don't have a Kindle or other digital reader. I'm not sure though, but I'm pretty sure you can. HTH
