So I ordered an item from an individual seller on Amazon. They had good feedback so I felt good about it. I used a gift certificate for a majority of my order.
A day or so after I ordered I realized that the address that it was sent to was my old one. Which is weird because I've done the 1-Click a few times in the year that I have moved and I've never had any problems. Luckily we are renting our old house. I saw that it was delivered last Monday so I let our tenants know I would be by in a few days to pick it up. They said they would leave it in the mailbox along with some other mail we had.
So I drive 2 hours last Wednesday to go get our stuff and I pull up to the mailbox and see that it is wide open with nothing in it! I talked to the tenants after that and they said they never brought anything in. I have called the post office a few times and they said the mailperson never took it back to the p.o. The package also had a tracking number so if it was returned or forwarded it should have shown up on the tracking info page.
What makes me mad also is that I have been putting in requests every few months for a change of address online and through the mail. Now I know that doesn't do anything! Sorry so long!! Any thoughts? I'm really frustrated and just want the item I paid for!
