I asked this in the Tips section, but thought I'd post here too if anybody could help.

I am wondering if Amazon ships to Disney Resorts? I am wanting to purchase some things on Amazon that don't allow shipping to Australia, last time I had them sent to a friend in the US and she posted it to me but obviously this was costly as I had to pay the postage to her and pay her for posting it on to me. I am staying at Pop Century, would they accept packages from Amazon? And if they do how to I put that in the address section?

Thanks in advance :)

I have had packages sent to a Disney resort from amazon. Should not be a problem just let the front desk now you are expecting a package. They will just leave a message when it arrives and you pick it up from the front desk.

You can definitely ship to your resort, you can address like below but obviously change for Pop Century!

Shipping Address:
"Your Name" C/- Disney Fort Wilderness Campground
HOLD FOR GUEST ARRIVAL 12/1/2010
4510 N FORT WILDERNESS TRL
ORLANDO, FL 32830-8415
United States

Thank you two so much :)
Shall give it a whirl and hope it works :D

I have ordered things from all sorts of places to have delivered to the resort (different resorts and at WDW and DL). They are very good with accepting packages at Disney. One I had delivered to DL once was massive. I had to go and buy a whole new bag just for that parcel. Just make sure you address it correctly and have that you are a guest and your arrival date.

Thanks :) I placed the order today and it's estimated to be delivered the day before I arrive (good timing lol) so I should have a lovely package waiting for me when I get there, hopefully :)

I bought several things from Amazon and had them shipped to the Pop Centruy in September - mobile phones, DVD's and a handbag. 3 separate orders, all arrived safely and in a very timely manner (I tracked them online). The hotel held them for us and gave them to me when I checked in - didn't even have to ask for them, it was noted on our booking that we had packages waiting and they were located and given to us immediately.

Oz-kateer - did you check in online and note that? I wasn't going to bother to check in online but I might do that...

I think what OzKateer may be meaning (and I may be wrong ;) ) but when i have had packages waiting at checkin (which is most times we have arrived at a Disney resort), they are noted in our booking but I have not put the note there. When the package arrives, the resort looks up your name and puts a note in your reservation for when you arrive at the resort, so the check in person knows to run out the back and get your parcel. The same happens for packages that arrive during your stay. When you go down to ask for the package at the front desk, they will look up your reservation and run out the back to get it (unless it's a grocery delivery from Vons, Garden Grocer, We Go Shop etc, they go to bell services)

Ohhh thank you :)
Looking on Amazon part of my order has already arrived, just waiting on next one (they split the packages). I tried to do online check-in but the site wasn't working for me yesterday.

That's correct - I didn't have to note the packages anywhere on my booking, it was done for me.

I didn't bother checking in online this last trip in Sept, as we were arriving at 7pm(ish) there was no crowd anyway. I have checked in online in times past however and it was fine. But neither method had any affect on my deliveries.

I just checked in and the lady who was checking us in told us she noticed we had packages waiting and went and got them all. When I realised how much I had bought it was a bit embarassing seeing all the packages there at once! We had stuff from Amazon, Wal-Mart, Crocs and Disney Store. Everything arrived 100% a-okay.

I think I might be in the same boat with feeling a little embarassed!! They may need a forklift for all my packages ;) Been handy with christmas presents though :santa:

Just wondering which address you used for the Disney Store. They wouldn't accept the POR address.

When completing the Online order I put things in this order:

First Name: my first name
Last name: my last name
Company: HOLD FOR GUEST ARRIVING mm/dd/yy
Address Line 1: 1050 Century Drive
Address Line 2: Disney Pop Century Resort
City: Lake Buena Vista
State: FL
Zip: 32830
Phone: number of the hotel

I had to put the name of the hotel in the second address line.

Play with it a bit.

POR address is 1251 Riverside Drive, Lake Buena Vista FL 32830

Good luck!
