I just impulsively bought one. I figured it would at least be good for travel and staying in hotels or whatever. I could even take it to my inlaws easily.

I'm not seeing the $19 price tag? I am signed in to Amazon (prime member), and it's showing $39 in my cart?

thanks SO much for posting this. I have been streaming Amazon Prime to my Kindle Fire and had been thinking about buying a wireless Blue Ray player as I don't have a Roku box and would to stream to the TV. This would be perfect for what I need and a lot cheaper than the Blue Ray($90) I was looking at.

could I buy 2 and use one for the TV in the family room and one for the kids room? at that price easier to have 2 instead of moving it from one TV to the other

It says limit 2, so you should be fine!

For those not seeing the offer, its a red band across the top of the screen.

Thanks for the heads up. We have an Apple TV, a Roku, and a Chromecast already, but for $19 I'll definitely try this one out.

That sounds like a great deal but I wonder if it's something we need. We can stream through the xbox and have a Smart TV. I'll have to check our bedroom TV to see if it has the right port because it would be nice to add streaming there.

Coming back to add - I'm looking at it more on the Amazon site and think we will order one. Just confirming - there are no monthly fees for this, right? I did not see anything listed on Amazon but wanted to double check. I am not up to speed on these new devices.

Wow, thanks!! We were just debating a second Roku for the tv in the bedroom -- this solves that! Thanks a bunch for posting this!!'

It plugs into the HDMI port, if you have an LCD/LED or Plasma, you should have that connection.

Our oldest TV is 8 yrs old so hopefully we have it. When I'm not so lazy, I'll walk up or downstairs to check. If not, I'll give it to DD20 to use for her TV at college. I suppose I could be nice & just buy one for her anyway. That might be a good Christmas gift!

I have no clue if we need it or not, but I ordered one. If DH doesn't think he wants or needs it, we can return it.

We are looking for ways to break free from our cable company and this gadget seems like a step in the right direction.

I know, I would love to drop cable too! If someone ever comes out with a way to get sports without cable, we'll be set. That's the main thing holding us back from dropping it.
