Amazing Race Port?

Is the port from the opening show of the Amazing Race the same as the one we will depart from in California??

I am watching the amazing race from last week tonight and I will let you know. I have been to that port before so I should be able to tell.

From the pictures of the Amazing Race that I've seen, they started in Long Beach, the port that Carnival cruiseline leaves from.

I took some photos of the San Pedro Port and a few pics of Long Beach & the Aquarium of the Pacific. My kids really enjoy the aquarium. DS loves the sting ray & shark touch pools. AAA members get 10% off admission and Costco members can buy tickets for 20% off at participating costcos.

I am hoping that on Amazing race they will travel to one of our Mexican Riviera stops so we can glimpse a preview of those places! I love that show!

Me too! HOw about that Rob and Amber, they are too much...so....we are not in the same place as the AR?

They did good tonight. (Rob and Amber).. Did you see the announcement about AR looking for familes of 4 for their next show? That should be real interesting. Maybe we could get a DIS family to go and we could all root for them! (Sorry, we are only a family of 3) and yes we will be at a different port than shown on TV.
