Amazing deal on Disney music

I just stumbled upon a great deal on Disney music--no, this isn't a commercial. It's called Classic Disney: 60 Years of Musical Magic. I found it at one of THE big internet book and music dealers (I won't mention the name because this really isn't an ad, but you can figure it out--it's AMAZing). It is a five CD set imported from Australia. It has the original music from virtually every movie Disney has made (it does not include the latest Pirates). It even has Fantasmic, Electric Light Parade, and other music from the parks and TV show.

My daughter, who is now in her teen years, heard while I was playing them. She even became excited and sat with me and keep saying, "Oh, I love this tune. Oh, that's one of my favorites!" The recordings are very good. Some of the older ones are not as crisp, but considering their age I can forgive that.

I thought I'd mention this because it, supposedly, is no longer in production. I thought my fellow posters here would appreciate it much more than some collectors buying them up for ebay down the road. I didn't buy it from the major internet store, but from one of their "marketplace" people for $28 plus $2.50 shipping. This is one of the best deals I've found in a while--it makes great music to surf the boards!

I've had that collection for 2 or 3 years, and I still listen to the cd's all the time. It makes a wonderful gift for anyone interested in Disney, too. I've given the set to at least 3 different people for Christmas/birthdays.

Can someone help me with this.........I can't find anything for $28.00! There is one for 43.00 new. I've been wanting to get this one for awhile now and DH's birthday is next month.

CeeCee & any others, Mary has a link to this CD on mousesavers from overstock brand new for $27. Forget ebay or the biggie online book/music place, lol. Get it new!

Edited to make this clearer. The mousesavers link is $27.39 TOTAL that is WITH SHIPPING. I am pretty sure I bought mine 2 yrs ago for nearly $40 - figures....

You can find it on the AMAZing site for only $27 brand new also with only $2.50 shipping. When it comes up it will say you can get it from $27 to $48 brand new. Click on the $27 link and it takes you to one of the AMAZing marketplace merchants that are selling them brand new. I just ordered it from someone in my home state for only $30 delivered. I should be getting it fairly quickly. To the OP thanks for the heads up! I was in need of a new Disney music fix. It is 43 days til the next road trip to WDW. I always try to get a new CD or two of Disney music to get us in the mood for the long trip down. Thanks again!

Okay......I see the one for $27.00 and then one for $43.00 and then it says buy both for $70.00!?! Are there 2 CD sets? The covers look the same except one looks purple and one looks blue. Are there 2 vol. of this as well?

Does anyone know if it has the song from the Epcot Tapestry parade? I don't know the name of the song but my kids call it A-O (as in A-O, O-A-O-A-O). Great description, huh I'd buy it just for that song since we can't find it anywhere else and they love it. Thanks!

No, the Tapestry song is not in this collection. I did buy a cd at Epcot back in January that had the Tapestry song on it. My children really loved this cd collection because it had "new" songs on it that they hadn't heard before. (like "The Ugly Bug Ball" and " The Monkey's Uncle") They go a little nuts whenever the song from Fantasmic comes on, too!

No, there is just one set of 5 CD's. You probably clicked on two different sets ($43+$27=$70).

I have noticed a notable exception in the collection: Oliver and Company. Disney never has promoted Oliver and Company very hard. To me, this film was the beginning of their "Second Golden Age (1988-1999)." It was their first quality animated "musical" in many years (1988) and was followed the next year by Little Mermaid--and the rest is history. There are no movies in the set after Mulan which was released in 1998, so maybe their rights do not extend past this date.

I have this 5 cd set - love it (no Epcot parade music, though)!!! I bought mine on Overstock.com NEW. They have it for 25.99 + 1.40 shipping! (They have an awesome shipping policy - 1.40 for one media item, 2.80 for 2 media items, and 2.95 flat shipping for entire orders, including furniture, TV's. rugs, you name it -- only 2.95!!) Go to that website, then select "overstock" from the drop-down menu at left.

Most of the coupons are for larger purchases, but there's one for 5% of any order.

Thanks for the AMAzing info about getting this collection!! I was really bummed that I couldn't get it at Overstock.com (won't ship it to our overseas military address), so I was excited to be able to get it for a couple of dollars more anyway. Woohoo! Can't wait for it to get here!
