I've come to the conclusion, I talk way to much. Trying to get it all in, in under 100 words is like trying to only have 1 bite of a Mickey bar!

Just think of it this way - when you reach Round 3, you can talk all you want!

Hi guys! Just popping in to wish you all the best of luck! I can't believe that 1 year ago today, I was sitting in your shoes... I can vividly remember those butterflies!

Being selected to serve on the panel has been life changing in so many ways. I have had so many amazing experiences not to mention the fact that I inherited a HUGE new family, all while helping guests plan magical vacations to my favorite place on Earth! It's the perfect "job."

THIS is the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, so buckle up, throw your hands in the air, and enjoy every minute of the journey! We'll be here to cheer you on along the way!!!

Done. Now time for the wait...Was anyone else worrying that they needed to hurry and finish so that they would be one of the 14,000!! I was worried that when I hit submit I would see... "We are sorry but 14,000 other dis-boarders got their application in before you! Try again next year!"

Yep... My heart started racing, but I made myself slow down. 14,000 total applicants, and how many would they accept for WDW?? It is all done now. I have a happy feeling too!

I threw my hat in the ring! This is my first time applying since I didn't make it the first year. I admit it took me a very long time to get over the rejection... I couldn't even use my free moms panel mouse pad without crying. But I figure I might as well try again and see what happens. Really it's a "no lose" situation since no matter what happens I can always help my DIS-family plan their trips.

My application is in. I feel that it was my best one yet, but I am trying not to be too invested in the process this year. Truly, any of us would be great on the panel, and with 14,000 applicants, there is a bit of luck involved. I would love to be one of those who get the pixie dust, but I know it's nothing personal if I don't!

I know exactly how you feel, I've applied every year and actually made it to round three last year. I still tear up over that rejection, but always remember to keep a little faith, trust and pixie dust! Just the people on the DIS boards are so Disney Savvy, I have no idea how they manage to sort through all those applications! As I said last year after the final rejection, I will keep applying until Laura personally asks me to please stop!

We'll see what happens. I really wanted to apply for the runDisney position, but I did not meet the 24 month requirement. So, I went WDW. I hope with all the clicking, something didn't get messed up. Last year, I made it to round two with runDisney. Time will tell.

I think it might have been 24 months since my last runDisney race. And, I am sure that running the Goofy come January won't be good enough. And I did not have space to talk about leading run groups. Or helping people train for races.

I'm going to go off and sob in the corner for a bit now.

Looking back, I don't think my answer this year was a full as my answer last year.


Here is the information. It was on the first page, about the program.
•Be 18 years of age or older.
•Have access to a computer and an Internet connection.
•Be familiar with Walt Disney World® or Disneyland Resort and visited either park at least once in the last 12 months. If applying to be a specialty panelist, you must have experienced that vacation within the last 24 months.*

I clicked on this first. Why, I don't know? I'm doing to the TOT10Miler at the end of the month. My DH and I thought best not to get cut by a technicality. We will see what happens, but if needed, my plan will be to reapply next year for runDisney.
