AmAirlines + Disneyland Hotel deal for $1500?!

A co-worker of my husband said he recieved a brochure in the mail the other day with this offer:

American Airlines round trip tickets
flying out of Calgary to L.A.
7 nights in the Disneyland Hotel
For a family of four
For $1500.00 !!!!!!

Has anybody else heard of this offer? I looked on the American Airlines website and found nothing on there about this.
Sounds like a great deal!! (I wonder what the catch is?...)

Haven't heard of this offer anywhere, but I guess it is possible. They are probably quoting in US dollars and without taxes. We just got back from Disneyland and flew Westjet out of Calgary for $210 CDN roundtrip on a seat sale (about $175 US) and I saw the Disneyland Hotel advertised for $119 US for some of the nights we were going to be there. If American Airlines had a similar deal, it would add up to around $1500. It would probably be an off-season special. Best thing to do would be to have your husband ask his coworker if he could see the brochure and see what the details are.
