AMA and DLR Tickets

Just wanted to let you all know that at AMA you can get tickets WAYYYYYY cheaper than at the D. Store. For a 6 day park hopper I paid $199 per adult. In CANADIAN funds.($204 for a 5 day hopper at the D. Store) AMA just has to order them in and it takes at the most a week.
If you buy the tickets that they have there, be prepared to pay through the nose. For a 5 day hopper it will cost $233 with the exchange rate.

I imagine that tickets for the World would be a good deal as well. So, there you go. Another place to think about if you want tickets at a cheap price. Oh and you need to have an AMA membership. HTH someone!!

Just an update. When my sis that lives in Lethbridge went to her AMA to get the tickets they had no idea what she was talking about. Well, to make a long story short, they (AMA) realized that the tickets were ordered in from Sun Fun ( I believe that is what DSIS told me) and that the tickets are a negotiated price. When the dollar was good the tickets were negotiated for a good price (i.e. $169 for 3 day hopper for DL in CAN funds). If you are not able to get it for that price in Canadian funds you will have to pay $169USD and with the conversion it is well over $200 per ticket

They order these tickets in from Sun Fun. You do not receive the tickets, they have to be ordered in. It takes at the most about a week.

I have tried googling SUN FUN, but have not come up with anything concrete. I think this is a company that AMA deals with and that is why they are able to do this. Anyways, hope that this is clear as mud and that it helps someone.
