I was babysitting a family friends daughter. I have known the baby since before she was even conceived, lol.

So, while babysitting before the mom left she put some puffs for the baby. She had me try some, lol.

Is it weird I thought they were yummy and went and bought my own container of gerber puffs? :lmao:

They're actually really good! I like the garden vegetable ones. The downside is that they're expensive for the amount you get.

I once had a babysitter (she was probably in her 30s) and after school, she would make us noodles with butter as our meal, she would eat jarred baby food. She had two cupboards FULL of baby food, and she had no babies. She liked how it tasted. BLECH.

No, not weird at all. I eat my little granddaughter's puffs every time she's here! They're tasty little bits! Plus I wouldn't want the container to go stale too quickly, so better to help her eat them to let them get stale. :)

I used to eat the jarred baby food as well, when my two were babies. The desserts only though, I remember blueberry buckle was so good! And the mixed fruit, and there was a raspberry something-or-other that was good too!

Those puffs are really good and there hasn't been a baby around here in a very long time! :goodvibes

We get these yogurt melts from Whole Foods for my daughter. My husband and I both eat them all the time.

wasnt there news recently about Hollywoods baby food diet? That would do it for me because if I had to eat that jarred stuff I wouldnt ANYTHING!
Nasty!!

Those puffs are supposed to be good though.

My neice has celiacs and she brought over this huge tub of white GF, the little darlin just loves to share thank goodness! Those things were good! Her mum and I ate a lot of them!

I like the fruit ones. Like apple-banana or peaches. So good. I haven't had any since my girls were young, but I wouldn't be above purchasing a couple of jars to snack on. I don't think I could do meats or veggies though.

I used to make a really good carrot cake using baby food carrots. Now I have to go look for the recipe. I haven't baked it in years.

The pureed meat makes a great sandwich spread. Not too much salt like Deviled Ham, etc.

I like the fruits - and there are quite a few of the "junior" baby foods that I like as well..

They're a big help when nothing else is settling in your stomach very well - or for some reason you have to be on a "soft" diet..:goodvibes

I was thinking the same thing. I used to like the fruits and deserts when DD was eating baby food, but I couldn't stand to even look at the meats hardly. I was glad when she got some teeth and could start eating more table food because she was going to be close to being a vegetarian if I had to feed that to her much longer.

I read in one of the Rag Mags, that Jennifer Anniston eats baby food, when she needs to lose a few pounds....

I've been known to buy baby food bananas and pears. And the applesauce is great, too. It seems to be smoother than the regular...and still very yummy!

My mom was on Weight Watchers and she would eat the strawberry banana gerber puffs for snacks every once in a while. I guess they were 0 or 1 point, and they must have tasted good.
