who makes mules just to use their names? i alrady made one called bellhop, and am making another called pinkfloyd. anyone else do this?

I made a mule named "avocado" because it's my favorite food! I made many others too but forgot what I called them.

I've thought of it . I usually give them totally bogus names which are rejected by the VMK staff. By that time, my mule has been stripped clean.

I still have others who don't have names yet that I've got saved up. I just wanted to make the words public for others to use as they choose. Yay!

I started making a list of general words that I type that are not accepted and turn red. Then when I make a mule I use that word. A recent mule was called decorator lol!

but maybe you guys can help me anyway. I CANNOT type anyone's vmk names in the game. So, I can't type..."Hi, MousseDude" or whoever. It will not let me. Anybody have any idea why this is? Yavn is another example. I was in his room (he wasn't there), everyone was talking about his name (and typing it), but I couldn't. It seems like my dictionary is even more lame than most VMKers. There are a gazillion other words that I see other people type that I can't.

I would appreciate *ANY* help with this. Anyone? Please?

It does flash red when you type a name. Just enter twice and it will often show up just fine when it finally gets to the screen. There are a few names that I can't seem to type. I couldn't type cat.herder yesterday it came out cat.### lol and I checked the spelling and it was right. I tried several times and that was always the result for me.

In general, if the names don't show up when I type them it is because there is a typo in there somewhere. All the names are case sensitive. It is one of the reasons it is difficult for me to follow conversations. I am always clicking on the people to figure out exactly how to spell their name and I miss half of what is being said. (Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! )

Thanks Califgirl! You're right, it worked...I just needed to ignore the flashing red. Sometimes I follow the rules a little *too* well.
