Am I the only one who thinks the halls are scary?

I know this is crazy but the halls at the WLV scare me :earseek: We had a room at the end of one of the halls on our last stay and it seems like they never ended. We would walk and walk and walk and it was like we were standing still.

I know I've lost my mind. :crazy2:

You should see the halls at BWV. We had the second from last room once. It seemed like it took 5 minutes to get to the elevators!

Yup, they have a repeatitive thing going, reminds me of the hall scene in HM. Haven't seen a floating candelabra yet. :scared:

learn the short cuts.....

if you are on the first floor there are many.

what was your room number.

I always try to get close to the elevators - mother can't walk very far.

I actually was more creeped out by the hallways at SSR -- felt like "upscale housing project" to me.

And before anyone accuses me of bashing SSR -- I *love* that resort and can hardly wait to stay there -- just don't like the hallways! ;)

I love the VWL, but yes, the HM came to my mind as I walked to our room last month!

I've got to agree with the poster about the halls at SSR....we weren't crazy about them.

The wings at the Contemporary are extremely long......I loved staying there pre-DVC, but at the end of a long day, they were endless!! : :faint:

I have to admit...if I'm alone, I run to my room at BWV if we are way down the hall... :scared1:

this is a thread for him if there ever was one!!:)

And I thought I was the only one that does this!!! Being 3 doors from the end of the bldg. made those halls kind of spooky!!! And now you bring the clown into it!!! Oh man.

Too true, mbb-- Rich would be right in the thick of this one!! :earboy2:

LOL -- That's exactly what I was thinking! With my luck, we'll get the LAST room in the hall at BWV next month!!!

After numerous trips to our end of the hall room, I started counting steps taken. We were in 4128, it was about 3 doors from the end stairway. 235 steps from the elevator. But, I kept thinking about Rich and just chuckling to myself. My dh thinks I'm certifiable.

When we had the last room on the 3rd floor at the VWL our daughters were cracking us up acting like they were riding imaginary skate boards to the room. Of course it got even more fun after staying in a standard view room at BWV, they said they were going to leave bread crumbs down the halls to find their way back to the elevators. :earboy2:

We just returned from a stay at VWL/BWV...we were at the VERY end of the hall (4563, I think)...a dedicated studio. Maybe it was just me...but, I was always too tired to find them "spooky". I was in and out a lot by myself...I just never noticed...I thought they were "cozy".
