Am I the only one who has a niece with strange habits?

No, I don't. TBH I don't really think I'm fit to be a parent. I still do things that I probably shouldn't at my age, like play video games too much.

That's not to say that I wouldn't want to be a father one day, I just don't think I'm ready for it. And I have yet to really meet anyone that I could really fall in love with, as sad as that sounds. I was sort of the quiet loner in high school and college, if anyone can relate.

I'm pretty sure my Sims on Sims 3 do better in school than I do. Playing video games excessively isn't a bad thing-so long as you aren't living in squalor and eat once in a while. I've never been fond of children either and yet for some reason I'm still trusted to babysit.

Well, in any case, most of you know better than I, so I'm not worried about her silly behavior. She'll probably grow out of it soon, her little brother is almost speaking full sentences now, so the "fighting and arguing" stage can't be far off.

That said, I'm going to take down my first post because it doesn't feel right leaving it up for internet weirdos to read, not that any of you are weirdos, just that this stuff is easily searchable on google by people that can be...rather unscrupulous. Thank you everyone for sharing your foresight and your parenting wisdom, it's definitely something for me to think about for the future.
