Am I the only one who does not like a particular Disney character?

Tink is everywhere, but I'm just not that fond of her. When I'm looking for Disney clothing it seems she's on 50% of it, and everything else I look at. Is she a trend right now? Or have I not noticed it before? I'm a good old fashioned Mickey Mouse gal. The classic Disney characters appeal to me. Though I think Tink may be one... With the exception of Woody and Buzz I suppose. Is there anyone you're not fond of?

I don't like Tink either. It seems like every time I see her, whether it be in a parade or anywhere else at WDW for that matter, it always seems like she's sticking her tounge out at me. She did it during the MSEP and I gave her one back. Still it annoys the crap out of me every time she does it. Still, I guess the CM is trying to be true to her nature. Tink hates human girls (I think it's because of Peter Pan liking Wendy) and I am a girl, so why not stick her tounge out at me?

Nemo is one I'm not fond of either. He's always getting lost, and that's not a likable quality. Also he's a fish and I think the only Disney fish I like is Flounder from the Little Mermaid.

I'm dragged on the ride at Epcot every time we go, and I only do it because I want to visit the Living Seas. Peach is my favorite part of that ride, (he or she, not sure) is one of my favorites from Nemo. I also think Nemo is on too much merchandise as well. He's got so much attention and he only had one movie. He's just another one I'll never learn to like.

Awww..how can anyone hate Stitch? He was so misunderstood...When he said that line about family I melted. He actually reminds me of my Boston Terrier Boomer.

I love Stitch too! I have a fluffy backpack of him, and a Disney pin of him, both birthday presents from last year's birthday trip. I just adore him!

Marie (yeah, I know she's bratty!)

I don't think Marie is bratty! I think she's just a little overly proud of herself. She's the only girl of the kittens, so think of all the attention she get's from their owner!

Yensid is my other favorite. I've always wanted to see someone show some supiriority over Mickey, and after seeing Fantasia and playing through Epic Mickey, I think he's just that guy. The way he looks at Mickey, causing him (Mickey) to hand over whatever he took from Yensid and then eventually get sent away (whether it was being pushed by a broom or sent back into a mirror haha:lmao:) Not only that, but what other character's name is Disney spelled backwards?! :rotfl2:

This Duffy craze just slays me...just seems like a way to make more money for Disney by "creating" a new character and making up a new story.

I can't stand Duffy and wish he'd go away. Just doesn't seem to fit for me. Perhaps I'm missing something.

Have to confess I still love the classic characters.

I agree. This REALLY bothers me. :sad2:

I would just like to say in regards to the posters who are saying Mary Poppins is stuck up/vain etc. The movie is based upon a series of books. She is supposed to be vain and stern. If you've read the books, you would know this. I'd agree with you normally, but there is a reason. This is one of the few times that I say don't make any full judgements until you've done all your research and read the books as well as see the movie.

I can't stand The Incredibles. Honestly, I find the movie to be one big rip off of Indiana Jones and X-Men.

I never really cared for Tink, but DD had such a great interaction with her last time, that I kind of warmed up a bit. We still won't be buying any Tink merch though.

I don't care for Donald at all, but again, DD loves him.

I don't like Cars or Nemo. Thankfully, neither does DD. I haven't ever seen Lilo and Stitch, but he kind of drives me crazy at the Park.

That raccoon in Pocahontas is annoying.

Pocahontas was in heavy rotation at our house, my husband says the racoon is just awful. Kind of made me laugh.
My least favorite has to be Clairabell Cow. In the new Mickey Mouse club house she drives me insane

I don't know how anyone can not like Ariel. She is easily the hottest Disney chick.

I personally am not impressed what Disney has done to stepmothers. My wife is one and she has quite an up hill battle because of them.

Thinking a little more about this and I feel like the new Mickey Mouse club has really wrecked the classic charactors for me. The heavy hitters are in this show (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto) and they have just butchered them.

I do not like Tink.

I haven't seen Lilo and Stitch, but in the parks, Stitch is like the annoying parts of my ADHD son without the endearing qualities :lmao:

The one I really hate, though, is Pinocchio. I don't even... I can't quite... I just hate him. Truly.

ummmmm with the exception of Chip & Dale...I don't really like any of them! HA! Here's hoping Merida has some...merit!

I don't prefer Tink! But she isn't my least favorite either. I like Chip and Dale,Goofy, and Donald but not a real big fan of Mickey,Minnie, or Tink!

There are some popular characters I'm not crazy about. For instance, Mater, and not just because I dislike the Cars films in general. I actually try to avoid collecting stuff with Tink, Mickey & friends, or Winnie the Pooh & friends on it. They're just SO overdone and kind of disappointing when they're all I see. I like some Mickey designs, however.

I like Tink - she's got "spunk". But honestly, every meet and greet with the fairies that I've been too, I've had better interactions with everyone BUT Tink. I don't know why it always seems to be this way, but it does. My Mom (she's 65) said, "maybe the others are more fun becuase they think they have to work harder to get you to pay attention to them, becuase they're not Tink. And perhaps Tink is really just a b**ch." I almost spit my drink out my nose! but she did have a point. Either way...I think Vidia (the purple one) is now my favorite fairy!!

I also have a vote in on Stitch - he's just annoying! Even my 2 DS's don't even like him. :confused3

I also dislike Tinkerbell. I know that Disney has changed her image and she appeals to little girls, but I'll always think of her as the selfish, mean, scheming pixie in Peter Pan. There are other characters that I'm not crazy about, but they're not as prevalent in the parks as Tinkerbell is.

I loathe tinkerbell. I don't like Stitch but he isn't bad and that movie always makes me cry.

We are anti-Rapunzel in our household. It's a long story, but... yeah. Impossible to avoid her nowadays, can't wait until she fades into the background.

I don't get Duffy. I just don't get Disney hyping this non-character. What has he ever done to warrant such hoopla? I'll tell ya....NUTHIN'!

Save your $$$ for another Mickey plush! ;)

Us too!! :rotfl2: we were so mad that she was made an "official" disney princess because we absolute can't stand her! We don't meet her in the parks, saw Tangled once and hated it and her ever since! I've watched some of her character greetings on youtube and can't stand her! To each their own though...:rotfl2:
