Am I the only one that has TONS to do between now and DIS Con?

I see some of you are packing this weekend and have been packing for a while...

This makes me LOL....I have three trips planned between now and then (okay fun trips, but still...) and TONS of work....The only weekend I will be home between now and then is Thanksgiving...that is when I will be doing my packing!!!!

I won't EVEN go into the work I need to do!!!!!!

Oh and getting ready for that little holiday call Christmas!!!!

So I will definitely be READY TO PARTY!

I just realized today that I only have 25 days to go!!
I am no where near even starting to be ready!
AND yesterday I get a phone call from my SIL asking me to do Thanksgiving at my house this year because she has too much going on!!! I've been working 6 days a week, running my girls all over the place for dance rehersals and trying to keep up with housework and the bills.

I'll probably be packing December 2nd at midnight!!

Thanksgiving is at my house this year as well.
I feel that ALL my Christmas shopping and decorating needs to be done by the Sunday before Thanksgiving, so I can get everything for Thanksgiving ready.
I leave the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
I will do "last minute packing" (as usual ).
I usually only get about 1-2 hors of sleep the night before I am flying....combination of nerves(I hate flying), excitement and stuff to do.

I've got tons to do and so little time to do it, too!! I am trying to get my house decorated for Christmas before I leave, along with my daily chores and packing, etc.
LOL I try very hard not to think too hard about it! It will make me crazy!!

Yes, I have tons of stuff to do. I've got a guest coming to visit for a couple of weeks starting on Wednesday, I want to at least get my Christmas lights up, I've got to do a little Santa stuff, get packed, take care of the dog......

Oh, and a little thing called work 8 hours a day.

Think I'll probably spend Thanksgiving day getting packed for my early flight on Friday.

But everything will get done.....and if it doesn't...OH WELL. I'm going on vacation!!

since I'm boycotting the holidays year I have nothing extra to do. I did volunteer to work the holidays so others can be with their families. I have a few christmas pressies to buy, but that is what e-bay is for and the rest I'll get at WDW.

I'd offer to lend a hand if I were near anyone.

Well I have absolutely loads to do We have some new shelving that needs to put up next weekend and then lots of boxes to unpack from my flat so that I can finally make my mark on Paul's house

I have to plan what I'm gonna pack.

I have to buy toileteries etc.

I have to organise my travellers checks

I have to visit the dentist and have check-up at Doctors.

I have to make sure Paul gets his Passport renewed for our New Year trip (V.important)

I have to book a manicure and pedicure

I have to book a hair appointment

I have to make sure all my work is done and left tidy etc.

I have to book my transfers to and from airports in Orlando and here at home as Paul is going to be working and can't take me to the airport.

I have to write Xmas cards.

I wanted to arrange to do my personal business cards.

Iron enough shirts for Paul for whilst I'm away so that he doesn't have to bother.

Arrange with Dreams what PS I want to make for New Year trip.

I think I'm gonna stop there as I'm giving myself a panic attack

:::raising hand::: Yup, me too! LOL I was getting a little stressed about it and had to slow down and 'focus' on what's important. I decided my health, mental and otherwise, was a wee bit more important. So I am now trying (and trust me, the trying is probably going to kill me LOL ) to pace myself.

With that said, I will have my house decorated, minus the real tree that we'll get and decorate after I get home, all my gifts wrapped, and it should look a lot like Chrismtas in here by Thanksgiving.

I actually ENJOY this sort of craziness. LOL

But I managed to buy all my toileteries today so that's a job ticked off.

I bought Christmas cards today, and new underwear that way I won't have to do so much washing in between my 2 trips.... so I feel like I'm making headway.

I've also agreed to go to Paul's mums for Christmas Day so I don't have to worry so much about making our house look so Christmassy - just the tree for us.

Ironing tomorrow......and so it goes

This is one of the advantages of my dw going this year, she can worry about the packing, I am just in charge of our schedule once on site

Last night I tried to make a tentative schedule for myself, it drove me nuts but I did it!!
I confirmed all ressies ( including flight ) and now I'm just working on my packing list.
I don't have thanksgiving dinners or parties to go to , so on thanksgiving weekend I will start decorating the house for Christmas, that will keep me busy!

Well, I accepted an offer on my house yesterday. So between now and DISCON I have to pack the ENTIRE house (Dayna, where are you?) and I have one weekend that I will be home to accomplish this!

At least this means I won't be decorating for Christmas.

I know exactly how you feel we're desperately trying to pack up my flat just in case my sale goes through just before or just after DISCon and time is a ticking away.....aarghhhhhhhhhhh

If you weren't all in such a hurry to get to WDW, you might have some extra time to get things done. Can you tell that I'm a bit jealous? It seems like a lot of people are arriving a week before DIScon starts. And I thought that December 1st was going to be plenty early. Sigh.
