Am I the only one surprised by the fact...

Others can correct me if I'm wrong. ... I believe that SSR has this basic set up plus a full separate 3/4 bath. I am thinking that the set up for the OKW 3 BR is to take the same basic design as the 2 BR and put a commode in each room with separate access but a connecting door between and call it two BA but if you want a shower, you have to access the 3/4 bath through the connecting door. So it would have the same number of Baths but with one less shower and without the 2 room BA for the master.

The OKW GV has a private bathroom for each BR plus a 3/4 bath on the main floor for a total of 4 bathrooms. 3 with bath/showers and the fourth with just a shower. The floor plans provided by Diane properly show the OKW GV plans.

Actually, the GVs (and Beach Houses) at all DVC resorts (OKW, VB, HH, BWV and SSR) have 4 bathrooms. 3 full baths with tub and shower and the fourth with just a shower.

Enjoy!

You're right, I was looking at it wrong. But I think you still basically lose the second room in the Master bath.

Are you sure? I was told by DVC just yesterday that OKW has 3 baths, but SS has 4. Or did I hear incorrectly? (very possible - there was a LOT of info!)
Each bedroom has a full bath with sink, tub, shower. Of course, the master bath's tub is a jacuzzi. There is a 4th bathroom in the downstairs hallway which has a toilet, sink & shower...technically a full bath, but there is no tub.

Just to prove to you that OKW GVs DO have 4 baths. Please note the FOURTH BATH in the downstairs hall outside the master.

Sorry if I wasn't clear - I certainly wasn't requiring proof. I was just explaining why I questioned the 4 bath statement and asked for clarification originally (that I was told the wrong info) - I was not trying to argue the point.

Either way, thanks for the floorplans!

Doesn't suprise me any more than 2 studios being less (or approx the same) points than a 1 BR.... or that if you want a 2BR and none are "available" that getting a studio and a 1BR separately is MORE points than just getting the 2BR...

I got get a 2-bedroom and a studio before getting a GV. same number of beds - plus at OKW in a GV you get one bedroom with double. with a studio they are always queen bed.

but GV is definitely for show. If you want to impress someone - the GV will definitely do it.

A two bedroom for the dates I am going would cost 135 points. A GV is 225.

2 two bedroom would be 270 points. I don't see where the OP is getting that a GV is more points???

I was browsing the points charts at some of the resorts. I didn't check every resort and every season, but it seems like basically the GV was a few more points that it would take to get two, 2 BR units...OKW appears to be an exception.
