Nothing you have said sounds desparate to me If anything I would say it was quite the opposite. You are clear about what you can and cannot commit to and looking for a man to fit in with your life rather than being willing to bend over backwards to fit into someone elses life.

It all sounds like a good basis for beginning a relationship to me You just need to find some eligible men now

I think you should have ago if that's what your heart tells you. I met the man of my dreams over the phone. He worked for a company that does our IT support, first of all we spoke on the phone and emailed and then we met up. We've been together ever since. It was hard at first as he lived in Manchester so we only saw each other at weekends but he moved in with me last August. I have been married before so I know how you are feeling, you just need to take the first step. Good luck
