Am I missing anything : Jan 2024 vs Feb 2024 travel to USO?

Looking to book a 3 night stay at Hard Rock Hotel for either Jan 27-30 or Feb 9-12, 2024.

We are 'fixed' to Hard Rock Hotel as hotel preference for personal/nostalgic reasons so will have the benefit of the Unlimited Express Pass either way. Our goals for the parks are to do the rides we have yet to try since last there in 2015 (Gringotts, Hogwart's Express, Hagrids, Velocicoaster, Transformers [am neither here nor there about Jimmy Fallon and Fast & Furious), and revisit our old favorites (Spiderman, Hulk, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Minions, Mummy) but do so at a leisurely pace and take in the shops & environment.

For those reasons we would ideally like to go during a time that would be less busy. From what I can tell, late January should the least busy of the two options (will be near two weeks after MLK day) with Feb potentially having crowds for Mardi Gras. Weather wise we are good with either - as Canadians, anything will be better than what weather will be at home.

Anything I'm missing that could make January busier or less appealing of an option for travel to USO?

We’re going to be at Universal January 20-27th (from Canada too). It was just announced that Rock the Universe, Florida‘s biggest Christian Music Festival, will be at Universal Studios January 26 & 27th. The event is being held after hours but I would imagine the increase of people in the parks will be quite significant. At least the beginning of the week for us will be a little more quiet!

posters on these boards who have visited the parks during the Rock the Uninverse weekend suggest it’s a weekend to avoid. Haven't seen any reports from this past Jan 2023. For those who attended in 2022 and beyond, how would it compare to the crowds at USO during Mardi Gras ?
