Am I Going To Lose Our Rate If I Didn't Have A Pin#??? (Long)

I spoke with a very nice CM this morning who assured me, anyone who booked the discount without the code will have their reservation cancelled. Furthermore, because I did not receive the discount, any money that was paid to Disney by people booking without the code would go towards MY reservation. Once my reservation was paid off, any of the extra money would then be put into a safe for me to get upon check in.

Actually, they will be in dollar bills all folded up into the shape of Mickey's head and decorated all over your room.

I say hold on to what you have. Should Disney revert your ressie to rack rate, guess what? AAA will still be there, right? (or are AAA rooms limited?)

AAA rooms are limited, there are only so many at each resort, and once they are booked, they are booked. That's why a lot of times when you try to get a quote at AAA they give you a quote with rack rates.
 

I spoke with a CM "supervisor" yesterday, explained my situation(didn't ask for a code or volunteer one, asked for a discount, told "Yes, you qualify" and got 40% off) and was assured that the code would be honored. I truly do not think that anyone posting here can be absolutely certain how things will work out. I wish good luck to those who were able to book and to those who could not, I really do hope that discounts will be here soon. Whatever your position on this- have a lovely day. It's snowing here. I'm so happy to report that all is now well with my reservation!!! My agent did use the code that was only for AAA and a pin number is not required. My rate is set and is good to go!! I'm back to being one happy camper and I bet my sweet AAA agent is just glad I've shut up!!! She sure had a rough go of it this morning!! :rotfl:

Didn't your TA know what discount she was using when she booked you? I don't understand why she would have been so worried and have called Disney if she knew she was using a AAA code. Maybe I'm just missing something. But I'm so glad you got what you wanted!! :banana:
