So my husband just called to tell me his boss at work, just called to tell him he really appreciates his hard work and is paying for him and his family to go on a week long vacation to either the Mayan Riveria or Disneyland since he knows how much we love Disney!

I cant even believe this!!!!! I am in absolute shock. We saved very hard and got to go to Disneyland last November and of course had the time of our lives and to get to go back soooo soon is truly a dream come true.

Now, we will have to go in the summer as my husband's other job is he is a teacher and he cant take anymore time off work (my parents paid for us to go to Arizona in a few weeks to stay with them at their place for a week- yes we apparently are very lucky!)

I am also 9 weeks pregnant right now, so probably the sooner we go the better, as I dont know what doing Disney while pregnant is like.

Is it crazy to go in the beginning of July? Could anyone recommend a good hotel with a suite close to Disneyland? (my mom wants to come this time).

I just had to share my amazing news with like-minded people! I live and breathe Disney pretty much everyday!

Congratulations on your trip. Your husbands boss sounds like one in a million as does your husband... we stay in a timeshare so cant recommend any hotels , just wanted to say Have a great trip.. :) :)

W...Wha....What? Is his boss named Santa Claus?

I could do either of those places and be just fine. In fact, I could use some beach action these days.

how cool!
I went to DL when I was in my second trimester and you can do lots of thing except of course rough, fast rides(TOT, roller coasters). It's a great time to have that extra Disney treat, yum.
Mexico also sounds great.

I went 7 1/2 months pregnant and while I was sad not to be able to ride Indy (my favorite DL ride) and I still loved every minute of it. You could always sit and people watch. Congratulations on your trip.

WOW......that is an awesome gift for sure!!!!!!:woohoo:

Go and have a wonderful time! :cool1:

AMAZING! What a wonderful blessing!!!

I'm heading to Disneyland next month and I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant. No idea how that will go down, but we our love for Disney I know it won't slow us down from loving the magic (just no Indiana Jones for me ;) We chose April cause I know I won't be able to handle the heat of the summer while pregnant. We also based our trip on lower crowds. We're staying at Staybridge Suites since it provides full complimentary buffet breakfasts and hotel rooms with suites and kitchens. It's not walking distance, but the ART will pick us up right in front of our hotel and drop us off at the parks. I think it's good to save myself a bit of the walking ;)

Much congrats from me, too! I wish you and your family a fantastic time! God Bless and your soon to be new addition, too. :) ETA: Congrats and a hug for you, Carolynleanne, too!
