Am I being over critical of PBH

I just received a response to my 'feedback' (basically the same as I posted here).

I apologize for the inconveniences that you incurred with your first room, without making excuses we have had a very busy summer. As you have commented our ooms are looking "tired" and so you are aware the hotel is going through a
major soft furnishings refurbishment next year which should allow us to provide the high standards of service which are expected. Once again thankyou for your feedback and comments. I stayed at PBH earlier this month for two nights in a Villa suite (upgrade). Housekeeping was horrible. We were on the 5th floor of the west wing where there are several suites and deluxe rooms. There wasn't even a maids cart on our floor until 4:30 or so. I had to call and make sure they didn't forget about us. Turndown service was very late as well.

Wow! We've stayed at the PBH many times since it opened (last time was Oct-03) and have never had more than a minor issues with housekeeping. Hopefully things are back to normal soon.

Never stayed at PBH but stayed at HRH and many times at RPR. We never had any problems with the housekeeping. We never had any problem with getting our room on time. Most of our stay, the room was ready before 4. We're always lucky to get a nice view. We're happy. The staff at RPR are so nice and very friendly. I guess that is one of the reason why we keep coming back at that resort besides the exotic south pacific themeing.

Just returned from HRH and housekeeping (I almost said mousekeeping!) was great. They went out of their way to make sure I was okay with everything, even when language was a barrier I always had 2 or 3 walk up to assit within a few seconds. Star Service was less than a few minute when a request was made.
