While this wasn't a Disney trip, I'm still a planner.

Checked my flights (we fly in June) to see how crazy the prices are now (to see if we got a good price). Our flights departing was pushed back 20 minutes. No big whoop. Our connecting flight was moved over an hour back.

No notice at all.

Most places won't tell you until that month if there is a change. I had one flight change a few times with no notice except the month I flew

How do you find out if the airline has changed anything about the flight?

I keep checking prices at Jetblue to see if they go down -but the flight #, departure times, etc always seem the same.

Just check your itinerary. There's usually an alert in red if something has changed.
Jetblue once called me to tell me of a flight change, once just changed a flight without warning and once CANCELLED a flight without alerting me at all...either by email or phone.

I used to love Jetblue..but stopped flying them since that incident.

I booked my Trip and airfare through Disney.
They sent an e-mail when my flights changed. The airline did not.
I also recived a letter via snail mail.
Just one more of the magical things disney does :wizard:

I always call the airline and disney the night before we leave just to make sure nothing as been changed that i do not know about.

So far so good!

We usually use AirTran and they send a e-mail if they change the flight a few minutes either way.

We are usuing United in June, we booked in November and I checked a few weeks ago and they changed our flight leaving from 2:15 to 12:45, if I would not have checked we would have missed our flight.

I called and they said they try and call but we must have missed it, why wouldn't you e-mail me, the have my e-mail.

This also changed our layover to 3 1/2 hrs.

It is always best to do a non stop flight.

Considering you don't own the reservation, Disney does, they should be responsible, just as any TA would be.

Respectfully, there have to be a lot of YOUNG travelers here. Standard advice for airline passengers when I was growing up and even into my early adulthood (read: everything prior to the advent of the Internet) was call the airline to confirm your flight within forty-eight hours of departure.

NOBODY expected the airline to contact them - and this was back in the days when airlines actually provided service - city ticket offices, meals, magazines... things to make the passenger's overall flight experience more pleasant. But NO notification of flight changes or cancellations - and the airlines, and the passengers, had phones, even back in those days.

I had no idea airlines changed flights around so much!!

Thanks for the information how to check our flight. So far, so good.

Dani
