Alright people, give me your best Girl names!

Here are some I found that sound pretty and that are Italian:

Emilia
Sofia
Gianna
Isabella
Anna
Serafina

I like traditional names, from obscure to commonly used. Italian? Hmm...how about: Aurelia, Cecilia, Eloisa, Ginevra, Silvia?

We have a Victoria Renea and an Allyson Danielle. We call them Tori and Ally for everyday nick names :)

Ally was in running with the name Marissa as in Marissa Tomei :goodvibes

My DD's name is Gemma which means precious gem or jewel in Italian. It doesn't seem to be a popular name in the USA although it was very popular here in the UK about 15/20 years ago. There are lots of Gemma's of that sort of age but not many younger ones. My DD is 9 and she is only one of 2 Gemma's at her school. The other Gemma is the younger sister of a boy in my DD's class and her mother was pregnant when our kids started school together and she loved my DD's name so much she chose it for her DD!

Sierra Marie
Avery Nicole
Aubrey Grace

Italian names I think are beautiful

Daniela
Giada
Annalisa
Giuliana

If you name her Giuliana, make sure your spell it right! ;)

My DD's best friend's name is Margreta, I like it a lot but that's not very Italian. I looked up some Italian names and the ones I like are:

Adriana
Clarice
Lucia
Marietta
Martina
Silvia
Sophia
Sonia

ETA: I just looked up my own DD's name and it's Italian (well, Roman). Her name is Celia.

I approve. :thumbsup2

- Sincerely,
Sonya.

;) :rotfl:

Congratulations!

I just had a boy but if he was a girl he would have been Sofia Grace. Other names that are Italian Lilliana, Francesca, Gabriella, Mariaelena, Mia.

I see Sophia popping up a lot here. Nice name :)
