we are seriously contemplating a christmas week trip to wdw. leave 12/26 7am, drive to ga. sleep, arrive in wdw 12/27 am. leave wdw on the 31st to be home on 1/1. We have ap's & some disney dollars. what i was wondering is if there are any codes out there that might (longshot) apply. We are alos dvc members, & are wondering about availability. anyone have any info about either possibility? Yes, i realize it is both last minute & crazy. thanks.

You may be able to get AAA for a night but I was just checking the TA site for availability and I think you will be disappointed at the slim pickings (aka high prices) available if you don't switch resorts. I also think the chances of members services coming through for 1 resort are pretty small

Are you meaning this Christmas, if so most if not all, rooms at Disney are most likely sold out and have been for months. Same with DVC resorts. Unless you get a cancellation, I would imagine you will have to look at staying off property. There were codes, but I am sure they are gone too.

This is the busiest week of the year at Disney, you can certainly try, it won't hurt and you might get a cancellation.

We planned a last minute New Year's trip and are staying off site. We want/need more than a single hotel room so we're doing the Doubletree Suites at DTD. Prices are very high that week.

I'm sure you will get a cancellation....but don't count on a deal. I believe the codes for that time are long gone.

Your best bet is DTD hotels.

Call, and then keep calling. We were able to get our additional DVC nites last Christmas after initially being told "nothing available". Remember, their inventory is constantly changing, so my advice would be to try various times throughout the day.
