I saw the Disney Cruise special on the Travel Channel and I couldn't believe the load of bull they were piling on the spa customers. Electrodes that help you eliminate "toxins?" Alpha Capsule = 3 hours sleep? All presented with the most wonderful European accent.

C'mon. Does anyone really believe that stuff?

I LOVE the Alpha Capsule. Does it feel like 2 hours sleep (that's what we were told)?? Maybe. I know it was very relaxing and calming. Only thing I found was that the 25 minutes wasn't long enough. I was just to the point of ...ahhhhh.... and poof it was over. This time, I'm doing the 50 minutes. It really is very relaxing though and I can't wait to do it again this weekend!!!

I did this 4 times on our last cruise! The first 2 times it was only for 25 minutes after that I booked the double for 50 minutes! I loved it! I fell asleep in minutes and it was SO relaxing!!

I did the alpha capsule once as well, and found at first that I thought it was no big deal, unitl about half way through my time, when the world seemed to dissapear and I became very relaxed. Would definietly do it again.

And they will tell you that every thing helps purge your body of toxins, do I believe that, not really, do I care, not at all. I just know I feel great when I've had a treatment and that's all that matters. The only draw back for me is not having enough money to try almost everything.

I'm another fan of the Alpha Capsule. Do i think it makes up for lost sleep? No. Do I think it is very relaxing and enjoyable? Yes!

DH did the alpha capsule just a week ago. He booked two fifty minute sessions over the 4 night cruise. He said that he was asleep within 5 minutes and he woke up refreshed. He compared it to taking just a regular quick nap, he usually wakes up from those feeling even more tired. The capsule was different though, he said that he felt like he had slept much longer.

There were plenty of people getting the ion detox done when I was at the spa. They were stating that they had lost around 4-6" after the treatment.

I second that one :) Love the alpha capsule. Do I think it was equivalant to 3 hours sleep...probably not, but it was very relaxing and refreshing. I would do it on every cruise if it didn't cut into the Facial and massage budget ;) Hey a girls gotta have priorities right :)
