CSR? Not sure what this is - but I will sure look into it! Thanks for the suggestion. I do think we will probably look into points for the BLT too. I know for sure my DH would LOVE the views and the monorail convenience. Also being able to just walk to the MK would make DD freak out!!

I am also in the NO hot tub minority. I know someone personally who contracted MRSA in a hot tub.

hi jungle cruiser!!!!! we thought briana was done going down with the old people but someone created a disney monster and wont give up her vacations with mom and dad. we stayed at the contemp. the last 2 vacations we did use our points and tammy and i want to stay at all the monorail resorts. tammy always wanted to stay at the poly. so, suprise!!!!

I understand about the vibrations! Our (newer) mall in Huntsville has a second story and there are specific places you can stand and feel those vibrations as well. I try to keep it from bothering me. I wonder if it's a large building thing?

Hey neighbor, I have been many times to the new mall and have felt that and wondered what triggered it. The Poly has vibrated since the first time I stayed there in the '90's but I always thought it was when the monorail came thru. We love, love the Poly and even though we tried something new last year and trying something new this year I would rather be staying at the Poly. I hope when they renovate they don't mess it up too bad.

I have never been inside the Hawaii longhouse. From what I understand, if I want a balcony, I want the 3rd floor only, correct? How bad are the garden view rooms that are near samoa? Do they just look at that longhouse w/ no view to speak of?

The Garden View rooms mostly look out to the quiet pool.
You get a full balcony on the 3rd floor and then the porch on the 1st floor and a partial balcony on the 2nd floor.

We are both speaking of Parkway City/Place?

I know, right? Poly is home to me. When it changes I will be pining for the old design since so much of it harkens back to Walt, but I will manage. There will be new memories to be made and I will enjoy telling my kids, "When I was young, this was over here and that was over there and we didn't have any of this new-fangled stuff, blah blah blah!"

So is this really happening? Is the Poly completely changing? I thought there were just rumors out there right now. If it is getting a complete refurb, I should probably consider staying somewhere else in July 2013 - as I am sure it would not be complete by then. Boo!

Two days to go!!! TWO DAYS!!!! I think I am more excited than the kids. This being their first trip, they have NO idea what they are in for.

Quick poll...how long did it take for your luggage to get to your room with the magical express? Our flight lands at 9 am. I'm going with the assumption that the luggage may not be in our room till the evening, so I'll be prepared, but I wanted to see what other's experiences was.
