Almost time to book our character meals?

Next week I am able to book or dining reservations for August. So my question is now that they have the e-mail ( meaning you can e-mail your reservations to Disney). Do you think its better to call or to e-mail what have been your experiences? We want to book Minnie & Friends at 10:00 and the Princess lunch at 12:30 diffrent days. What has been you experiance about getting the times you want? Several questions being this is my first time making reservations at DL ?????:

I just booked AG and BBB and a BB reservation via email this week. Super easy and got a confirmation within 10 minutes. First they send you a generic thanks for your email email, then your confirmation email. Super easy!

I've been very impressed with the email system. I don't think you need to worry about reservations filling up the first day. I think email is a great option though.

I also used email to make reservations and it worked out great.

Give them your name, restaurant name, date, approx. time, number of people and anything else you think they need to know.

An email right away lets you know they received it and one in a few minutes or a few hours, depending on when you send your email, gives you your confirmation.

I just booked our August dining reservations and used the email option. I was able to get every restaurant and time we wanted. We also received the emails stating we received your email and then I received my confirmations within 40 minutes. I would highly recommend the email system
