Only about 2 more weeks until my first holiday trip to WDW... and unfortunately they are my finals weeks for my first year of grad school!

So help me Disers, as I am sitting here struggling to study.. remind me of what I get to see/do in two short weeks? Please? :goodvibes

Trust me, I am in the same boat as you - I have one more week of classes and then a week of finals. After that, it's straight to Disney! It's going to be a tough 12 days, but I did the same thing last year and it's not that bad actually (I also did the same thing in May with my finals leading right up until the day before we left). I liked having finals right up to when I leave because I'm so busy with them that the time goes by super fast and before you know it, you'll be on the way to WDW! So, just stay focused on your finals (with a little Disney here and there of course :) ) and your trip will be here before you know it!

When you get there, the Osbourne lights are an absolute must-do, as well as the holiday IllumiNations. Another great thing to do is do some resort-hopping to see all of the gingerbread set-ups. My favorite areas are the Epcot resorts and the monorail loop (including a detour to Wilderness Lodge).

I've moved this thread to the Doing the Happy Dance! board. Have a great trip! :)

same here too!! I just finished one round of studying and decided I needed some disboards to get my mind off of pathophysiology!! I have two days of classes left, one clinical day and five tests to go! And then I'm off to the happiest place on earth! Sending a little pixie dust your way until then! pixiedust:

Remind you?

How about the view of the castle as you walk down Main Street, that first glimpse. CM's waving to you with the Mickey hands, the smell of the bakery as you pass by, the music pushing you along to the hub...

Parades, Wishes and your favourite characters greeting you.
Dole Whips, Turkey legs, COP, TTA and Space Mountain.

Rope Drops, EMHs and Splash Mountain...

Good luck on your finals:thumbsup2

I'm in the same boat with you...one week of class, one week of finals. It feels like a lot but I know that when I'm done, it's off to Disney!! I had to take some breaks today from studying and when I did, I came straight to the DIS. Can't wait for all the decorations, the smells, and of course, the magic!!

I really don't see how I've survived finals week before WITHOUT a Disney trip to look forward to! :lmao:

Thanks guys!! I'm cheered up already!

Spodie, tskover57-- good luck on everything! Glad to know that there are other people going through the same thing as me! WDW is awesome motivation. Sending some pixie dust to you both :wizard:

And tskover57- I'm in patho too! It's a killer.

yes its quite a doozie!! one test down four to go and just disney dreaming for the next two weeks!!:goodvibes

We have been counting down for a while now and in these last 9 days the old **** tube is helping us pass the time to our trip. On Monday night HGTV had a new that was a hour long about the Christmas season at Disney and all of the behind the scenes stuff on how the parks and resorts do everything each year. It was a neat show.
This Saturday on Food Network Guy Feri (sp?) is doing a show about the food at Disneyland this holiday season. Can't wait for that! Check your tv listings.....Christmas at Disney is everywhere! ;)
