Almost eerie...

It was almost eerie how few people were at US/IOA the Saturday (!) we went (12/13). We had prepared the kids for the fact that we might actually have to wait in long lines that day (crowds were light at WDW that week and they were getting spoiled). We also had low expectations of how many attractions we would be able to hit in one day (two-park, one day pass). But we rode everything we wanted--sometimes two or three times! We walked on Spiderman twice in a row!!!! Spiderman was the most incredible ride I've ever experienced. It was great. I liked Dueling Dragons, too. Poseidon was strange but good. The main difficulty being that I couldn't see everything going on if I got jostled to the back of the crowd and neither could the kids. But most of the action was up high enough anyway, so the attraction could still be enjoyed. The kids loved Cat in the Hat even though they thought it would be "too babyish" at first. They rode it twice. I really liked Seuss Landing done over like Grinchmas. It was just like in a story book or movie. We had a great time. It was a little chilly for wet rides, so we saved them for the end of the day then sloshed back to the hotel. Any questions?

Glad to hear you had a good time. It's never eerie when I go. People everywhere....that's why I make sure I have FOTL!!!!;)
