AllStars...

Depending on the trip I would choose whichever is cheapest (which is usually Sports) but if price is not the main concern then Movies. The theming is better and it's super easy to hop over to Music. The last time I stayed at Movies, I was in the building closest to Music so I would walk over and use their bus stop and food court.

I agree, Movies is the best of the three. I'm not a huge sports fan though and have actually never stayed there.
Same. I’ve stayed at Movies and Music, but I can never quite bring myself to book Sports. I’ve walked through it several times, and it always looks clean and nice. But I guess the theming just doesn’t cut it for me.

They are all essentially the same level of "nice" I would say, but, yeah, I just prefer Movies for theming. Sports is the closest to the front, so if you are sharing busses it will pull in first, so I guess that's a plus.

I have stayed at all three since their recent refurbishment and to be honest, I would go with whatever is cheapest. The rooms are virtually identical, and the layouts of each have pros and cons. If you like the ambiance of Music, then request a room in the section of Movies or Sports that is closest to Music, since it is a short walk from either to visit the lobby building of Music. I have had good stays at all of them. I will say I have not been at Sports when any kind of sporting event was taking place that could cause crowding at the resort.

Glad to hear these comments. I had movies but moved to sports to save $40 ish . It really is only to sleep in for one night. We’ll only be there for about 14 hours.

I think Movies has the better theming, but I just booked Sports myself because it was a good bit cheaper than the other 2 options for the date I needed. I added on 1 night to an upcoming trip and just needed a cheap place to sleep that first day. I don't care for sports at all, but the rooms are all basically the same so I don't care about that.

Have stayed at Movies once and Sports twice. As others said I would just book whichever is cheapest. If they are all the same I’d book Movies and request the Ducks section so you’re essentially then preferred for Music. I like the Sports theme the best but loved the proximity of Ducks to Music. And hockey is my favorite sport anyway so that fits in with my more like of a sports theme.

I've stayed at both. Love both. What would help me decide between the two is WHEN you are going. There are certain times when sports groups are staying at SPORTS. Many have adequate supervision, but some do not. This can make things less than comfortable. If you look at the Wide World of Sports calendar, sometimes you can get a feel for when or when not to stay at SPORTS. They were both, fortunately, a good experience for me...hope you have the same experience!

I am at Sports right now. Never had a desire to stay here but it's my favorite of the three now. Probably our 15th time maybe. I like that it has a small footprint and it feels fairly shaded. Movies standards were just too far and sunny for me. If I stay there it would have to be preferred.

Oh yeah then I would've picked Sports too. The rooms and amenities are identical between resorts.

Yeah, for 40 bucks a night it's a no brainer. Whenever I have checked, they weren't quite that different, at least for a standard room, so I'd usually spring for Music or Movies.

Either or is fine if you don't plan on staying in the hotel all day. I went with with Sports multiple times and it is pretty convenient in terms of getting off the first stop and the first to get on. However, the theme is meh at best. I pick whichever is cheaper.

just read that you switched to Sports to save some $$$. way to go.

ASMusic is our go-to but we can't get a room. Would you choose Movies or Sports, and why?
With Music as our favorite, staying at Movies in Mighty Ducks is a no-brainer.

Ducks is so close to Music, you will almost feel like you are staying at Music and can easily walk over there.

With your only request being Mighty Ducks you should be in good shape to get a room there.

Sports has a few advantages such as being the first stop for the buses but the All-Stars don't seem to be sharing much these days.

Sports is also the closest walk to the McDonalds. :)

And also the 15s.

15s,Cheerleaders and other groups can and do stay at Music and Movies at times, but Sports is definitely Ground Zero!

Movies for the theming but don’t give up searching for availability for Music. They release rooms all the time.
