I've gone back and forth on this over on the Resorts board and want to stop whining, but I can NOT make up my mind on where to stay. I'll be 3 nights at CSR with DD, but once she goes home I'm staying another 3 nights. I can continue to stay at CSR but might move to save some money. I'm looking at either ASMusic or ASSports, preferred room, and Sports is about $60 cheaper (in total so $20 a night). I've stayed at Music a lot and we like it better than Movies (especially didn't like Movies food court), but I've never done Sports. SO... should I "go where I know" and know I'll be happy, or should I go out on a limb and try something new? The money doesn't really matter, although I feel a "tad" guilty for spending money on myself and a solo trip... for about a hot minute, hahaha! I just can't decide!

I have stayed at all three AS resorts. Since the last refurbishment the rooms are identical, and the overall experience is virtually identical as well. My suggestion would be to check the menus for the two resorts online to see if there are any differences that are deal breakers for you. Personally, I would save the money to splurge elsewhere and stay at Sports.

After hearing of all the different teams that stay at Sports, I’d always pick Music (we stayed at Movies and loved it). I love kids, I’ve always been one of my DD21s coaches, and because of that I know how large groups of kids can be. It’s not like they are trying to be obnoxious and loud, they are just having fun, but that can sometimes be a problem if you want to sleep in or be quick with getting food and you can’t because of the teams everywhere. I know many who have stayed ay Sports when teams are there and they said it gets kinda crazy.

I thought about this and checked a website that doesn't indicate any competitions at Disney in November, but I'm not 100% sure if the site is reliable or not... and can't remember it, of course!

I have not stayed at either, but just looking on line, I'm more drawn to the theming of All Star Music.

Large groups of kids for a sports competition was also my first thought about All Star Sports. - But since your research indicates that there are no major things scheduled for your dates, and the point is to save money, I'd say give it a try.

I also like the advice to check to menus!

Twice now I have somehow been put smack dab in the middle of a block of sports teams and both times you would have had no clue they were there.
On the flip side I stayed at POP while a soccer team was there from Brazil and it was terrible. They were playing with balls all over the place and loud and up all hours.
I think part of it is how well the adults have taught them to be mindful that they are not the only ones staying there and there.

I would stay put at CSR. Not a fan of the value resorts. Small rooms. Loud guests. Long waits for buses. I would pay extra and stay somewhere nicer.

I've read that All Star Sports is picked up/dropped off first when busses are shared. Not sure if it's still the case.
I've stayed at either Movies or Music probably 5 or 6 times (twice since Nov. 2024) and we've never shared a bus with any other resort than the one we were staying at. I don't think they share buses anymore.

I haven’t stayed at Sport since it was new (late 99s?), but we have opted to save a few dollars and stay there this trip. The preferred rooms seem pretty close in. We usually stay at Movies and have experienced shared buses once or twice.
