Allergy to Pineapple

I am allergic to pineapples and I am desperate to eat at Kona and O'hanas, however from what I have seen from pictures there seems to be pineapple on every single dish as decoration,

do you think I would be ok eating at these places or would my choices on the menu be very limited?

You need to note this when you make your reservations. My son has multiple food allergies and we have never had any issues.

You should have no problem. Just make sure you tell the person when you make your reservation and when you check in to eat. The cook will come talk with you and will make your food separately and without the pineapple. Our son has food allergy issues and the great care that Disney takes for him is the reason that we take our family vacations there. They really do a wonderful job!
