My BFF and her 3 daughters along with me and my daughter have changed the date of our trip from February 2010 up to October 2009!!! (The girls will be 14, 13, 12, and 9)

I have found a great price ($45 each way) :cool1:for airfare going through Sanford as opposed to MCO. I will be booking in the next day or two. Through Allegiant I can can get an Alamo minivan for an amazing price (less than $300).

Has anyone ever booked the two together? Does it work any different at the rental counter? When I purchase the airfare and I given the option to print out my rental reservations?

So much to do and so little time!!!:eek::eek:

I wish I could help you, but if you look through Alamo's website you will see that it's a lot cheaper (for some reason) to book at Sanford vrs MCO. :confused3

I would still look at Alamo's website and see if you can't get it even cheaper as you could use some coupon codes too! Just an idea!

If you book with a Visa card.. they have discounts too! Visa Car Rental discounts

Edited to add... I wanted to say Thank You for posting this! I knew I couldn't use the coupon codes because we are going in Feb and the coupon codes will be expired by then, but I could still use the CDP number on my hertz reservation and it ended up saving me $89!! I'll take it!

No thoughts on the rental van question, but book those tickets NOW. Do not wait. Alligient changes their rates very frequently.
