Allegiant seems to be doing a lot of growth again. Several new cities to Orlando-Sanford have been announced. I wonder how many more will come.

Flights from Chattanooga, TN start Oct 31. They will fly on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Flights from Huntington, WV start Nov 3. They will run on Tuesday and Friday.

Flights from Greenville, SC start Nov 14. They will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Wow, although none of the cities pertain to me, Allengiant has a sweet business plan, they are storming the really small markets and putting in cheap service to popular destinations....

They don't stay too long sometimes. They came 18 months ago to Worcester, MA and cease flying there Sunday 9/3. They averaged 90% full and such, but Florida isn't their main business model, flying to Las Vegas is their main model and they use the north/south trips to keep the planes flying between east/west LV flights. Just after they arrived JetBlue and Song started Boston to LV service and they never added the additional LV flights out of Worcester. I'd guess that they will leave Portsmouth, NH once there subsidy their ends in late fall.

Allegiant watches profits closely and cities that they do well in they stay in. But they don't stay if profits aren't there year round. I understand Worcester had several months when the passenger counts were low.

Actually Florida is important in their business plan. Look for Allegiant to start flying from some of their East Coast cities to St. Petersburg/Tampa (PIE). The announcement is rumored to happen in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

They would never have flown to Las Vegas from Worcester, Allegiant's current planes don't have the range to reach it without stopping for fuel somewhere or leaving a lot of seats empty.
