I was just on hold for over an hour with Allegiant Air!!:headache: Each time I would call their customer service number, I would be on hold for 15-20 minutes, then the call would get disconnected. This happened 4 times!!! I am so frustrated! I was trying to cancel a ticket as I booked it for the wrong day:sad2: and was originally hoping for a credit for future use if I didnt have to pay a cancelation fee....well forget that!! I will never use this airline again! I just sent an email to them. I hope they respond soon as I need to continue with my travel plans. Has anyone else had a hard time getting through? Anyone have any luck getting a ticket cancelled??

This is what thier website says

Fares are non-refundable. No credit or refund will be given for fare differences or fluctuations after reservation is purchased. Seats are limited and subject to availability. Restrictions apply. Any credits for future travel resulting from changes or cancellations of this reservation cannot be used for online/web reservations and therefore cannot be applied to any web-only fares or web discounts. Customers with credits need to call Allegiant Air Reservations to make their reservation and will be charged the lowest available non-web fare.

So you are going to have to book on the phone.

One of the reasons they are "suppose" to be cheaper. Even fewer customer service agents then DL, NW etc (and they don't have many these days)

You get what you pay for, not what you don't. Try the best airline around, NWA.

Actually, this is for a flight out of Great Falls MT to Las Vegas, 99 one way.... the plan was then to catch southwest out of las vegas to MHT. I tried NWA, Delta, and others and one way flights from Great Falls MT to MHT were almost $600:scared1: . I was only going this route because I felt I had no other choice. I am going to try to get through today. I will post what happens.

I had booked a flight for Aug. 3rd and was assured by cust service that my return flight for the 10th would be posted at a later date. Well it turns out the 6th was the last flight of the "season" for Allegiant out of Youngstown, Ohio. I called and was told that they would give me a credit that had to be used by Feb. of 08. That's was no good for us. So long story short we wrote a letter to their Customer Relations and got a full refund. Here is the address.

Allegiant Air

I forgot to put Attn: Customer Relations at the bottom of the address.

:rotfl2:

Not even close. Probably the BEST airline around would be Singapore Air or another foreign carrier.

(And any airline that has to cancel flights at the end of June because they screwed up the pilot schedule does NOT qualify as "best")

Most airlines will give you a full refund, on any ticket, if you made a mistake in booking. You have to call immediately, within 24 hours maybe even less time. If that's the case send an immediate email and keep on calling. If you made the reservation more then 24 hours ago, you got what you paid for, you're entitled to whatever their website says and I wouldn't count on getting any "slack".

Allegiant had a big fare sale on Saturday 7/7/07. Tickets to Las Vegas were $7 and the demand caused a lot of web site and computer problems.

Maybe there was still computer problems or maybe heavy phone demand connected to that for some reason.

Unfortunate for the original poster to have service problems. But I've had frustrations dealing with other airlines through their call centers located outside the US.

That is what happened to me. Like an idiot...I booked a flight I thought was for 7am, but when I recieved the confirmation in my email I noticed it was for 7pm. I started calling immediately (within 10 minutes of booking) and thats when I couldnt get through and started to panic. I did send an email, and have yet to hear back from anyone. I think we have decided to just keep the flight as it is, and try to get a redeye from there. I will just have to be much more careful next time.

Sorry to hear about your confusion in booking. Allegiant Air only flies to/from Great Falls, MT-Las Vegas once a day - the flight arrives from LAS at 6:45pm and departs from Great Falls to LAS at 7:25pm.

Why not stop by the actual station to speak with them in person or call the Great Falls airport? 406-727-3404

Overall, Allegiant Air is a great airline with great deals. As with any airline, make sure you confirm your flight times before you book!
