Allears menus vs Disney site menus?

Which are more reliable? The allears menus or those on the Disney site. They aren't matching up for some of the quick service places I am looking at. I am assuming allears since they have dated updates?

I think you need to look at both. ALL EARS didn't have the changes made to Liberty Tree recently but Disney did. At least with ALL EARS they have the date that it was updated so that is always good. Just looked at ALL EARS and they still have not updated the LT lunch menu. I think AE goes by what guests give them as far as updated menus.

Agree that you should look at both while understanding neither may be totally correct. AE's menus when updated can be quite accurate; however, often the latest menu may be months or even a year or more old. The Disney site does update menus, but there is often a lag time between changes on the menu appearing on the web page. However, in general, I've found the Disney menus a bit more accurate unless compared to an AE menu that has been very recently updated.

it's a crap shoot which is more accurate. AE's menus rely on people reporting back so if no one has reported back on a particular restaurant in a while they can be quite out of date. Disney has some mistakes on their website and sometimes can take a few weeks to a month to update.

that said, if you are planning something around ONE particular dish, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Things seem to change quite frequently at disney.

I have also found that many times allears menu update and date change only reflects a change in the cost of a meal, not the menu items themselves

Neither are a guarantee so I usually look at both now and hope for the best. I picked a Mother's Day dinner at Le Cellier last year based on 3 items I thought I would really enjoy. Allears and Disney both had the same dishes listed and when I arrived that day for dinner they didn't have any of them on the menu. I expected perhaps they might change the sauce or side with their pork dish but they removed it entirely and had no pork options at all that day. I checked Disney's site that night to see if maybe it was changed but it wasn't. Apparently, at signatures in particularly, the menus can change frequently. Or at least that's what they told me.

This is very interesting, so thank you!

We are going to do a lot of QS for the first time to I have been reading menus just to get an idea of which places to avoid and which to keep an eye out for, and had realized that there were differences based upon which google link I happened to click.

I just find it funny that Disney might not have its own menues right, even at places like QS that might not change very often.
