Can someone tell me if a Playstation 2 game bought in the USA will play okay over here?
We've bought gameboy gaems in the US when we were over, but I just wondered if there would be problems with the screen resolution/NTSC stuff with a PS2 game.
My daughter is champing at the bit for one of the games which is not yet available over here but I didn't want to buy from the US and discover it didn't play on UK systems.
Any advice/help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance folks!

They will only play if you have had your PS2 "chipped", otherwise its a big NO.

yup....a big no....we learned this the hard way....

I don't know about the machine, but you can't play the PS2 games bought in the US on a European machine, due to the NTSC/Pal stuff
