....sooooo, my DS definitely has a tear in his meniscus - a small tear, so the doctor does not want to operate. He also sprained his ACL and bruised his bone, he he really should stay off the leg and let it heal...

....me too....he's bummed that he can't really work and he has no money coming in....spent over $2000 on supplies and uniforms and stuff for the Academy....I thought it was only around $1300, but it was really more than $2000, which he cannot get back...

Our old kitchen/dining room tile was broken and coming up. We had it all torn up in October (the kids were able to pull up most by themselves) and the thin set ground down to the concrete. We've been on concrete since then. Until this week!!! The new tile is all finished. We just need to finish putting the house back together.

What kind of tile did you get? I redid the floors in my son's home and put in that tile that looks like wood planks. Well, I paid for it but I didn't do any of the work lol. I love the look of it.

We looked at that tile. Very nice! But since it meets up with wood, we decided against it. We went with a porcelain tile that resembles slate. We considered actual slate, but with the kids, I wanted a smoother surface than the natural stone. All in all, I'm happy. I went with 18 inch tiles and a thin grout line. Next, I want to tile the bar.
