OMG Kimmar?! That's horrible! You can't make this stuff up. How can one person have so much bad luck? Yet have such good luck that he isn't seriously injured? I'm so sorry for your entire family. You are all so strong and supportive. Sending you all hugs, prayers, good vibes, and any other positive energy out there for the rest of this year and 2013!

Kimmar,what a terrible way to end the holiday but I'm very glad to hear that your unlucky brother wasn't hurt any worse than he was.

Snap, the cruise idea sounds most excellent.

It's been interesting here. We have had weather in the low 30s, followed by swim day and today it poured on us. So far I've bought a sweatshirt and scarf, a tee shirt and today a rain poncho. I'm having a great time. I know it's my last time coming for some time so I'm trying to enjoy every second.

I hope everyone is still enjoying their holiday season.

....go figure - he didn't get a bump or scratch on his head, but messed up his knee (he may need surgery because I think he said they thought he tore his ACL[?] ) and his ribs are pretty banged up too....personally, I think he should spend a week or two with my mom in Puerto Rico....her house is just 8 minutes from the beach!

Morning! How was your Christmas with the 'bets and DH?

It was good. DH's parents were here. Then, later in the day, his sister and her family came over. It was a bit a crazy, but not bad considering there were 11 kids in the house.

We have another birthday tomorrow. Or, I guess today for you.

H turns 8 on the 29th. We are going bowling. She's bringing one of her friends. DH's family will be driving up to go, too.

Christmas Eve was a zoo at my mother's. 22 adult and 12 kids. Curries and rice for food.

Christmas Day was nice. Just us and my parents. Turkey and plum pudding and salads.

I'm off work until the 8th Jan. So, I'm just enjoying the free time.
